So you've met with our staff, shadowed a drill, had a taste of the what the challenges and demands of a Sea Cadet are. And now you're ready to take the next step in your journey to becoming a Leader of Character!
SIGN UP AND ENROLL!
Enrollment in the Sea Cadet program requires:
Submittal of required documents
Completion of the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps Cadet Application
Completion of a medical screening by your primary care physician
Make an appointment with our Staff to process your enrollment package
Payment of Enrollment Fees
Required Documents
Each Sea Cadet applicant must provide the following documents
Proof of U.S. Citizenship (passport, birth certificate, SSN card)
Copy of the cadet's updated immunization records
Copy (front and back) of the cadet's medical insurance card
Military dependents can provide a Tricare "My Eligibility Letter" obtained from milConnect
Proof of enrollment as a full time student
Homeschool students are welcome and encouraged!
Proof of enrollment can be satisfied by submitting their most recent report card
Cadet Application
Each Sea Cadet applicant must complete the NSCADM001 Cadet Application to apply for enrollment. Applications MUST be completed in full for all applicable portions.
You'll need the following information to complete this application
Cadet and Parent/Legal Guardian contact information
Emergency Contact (someone other than parent) contact information
Cadet's medical insurance policy
Cadet's primary medical physician contact information

Cadet Medical Screening
Part of the Cadet Application found above requires the completion of medical screenings
"Medical History" Form
Filled out by the parents to inform of common medical conditions
"Medical Exam" Form
Physical Exam performed by primary care physician. Form MUST be filled out by the physician.
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!
"Medical Supplemental History" Form
Provides the cadet's prescription medication information.
MUST be filled out by the physician
"Request for Accommodation" Form
Provide information about your cadet's physical disability or behavioral condition.
DOES NOT exclude the cadet from the program. Only serves to help staff accommodate your cadet.
Don't forget to ask your physician for a copy of your cadet's immunization record!!!
Enrollment Meeting
CONTACT our staff and schedule a meeting to complete your enrollment package!
Bring all required forms and your Cadet Application
Expect about 1-2 hours
Enrollment package needs to be reviewed for completeness
Cadet will also be fitted for uniform issuance during this meeting.
Enrollment Fees
Sea Cadet Enrollment Fees MUST be paid at time of enrollment.
The enrollment fee is $200.00 for each cadet for the first year and $150.00 for each additional year of enrollment.
Payment can be made in person by cash or check.
Checks should be made out to "R D Stethem Battalion USNSCC"
Payment can also be made online with an additional processing fee and can be made HERE
Online payment can be made prior to the Enrollment Meeting. Bring proof of payment to provide to the staff during enrollment.
